One of the most worrying aspects of hosting a website today is the threat of hackers. When a vulnerability is found in WordPress, attempts can be made on affected sites before patches are available. Our hosting stops such attacks before they reach your site.

What do we need from you?

In order to successfully migrate your website to our hosting, we will need administrative access to your website, and potentially FTP and cPanel access to your current hosting.

Backup Your Site

We backup your existing site, database and all files and store them safely in the cloud.

Restore to our server

We restore the site and check that it works exactly as it should before making it live.

Make dns changes

In order to make the site live on your domain, we need to make changes to your DNS settings.

Terms and conditions

Ownership The ownership of the site, its content, database and any related files remains with you, we are merely the ‘custodian’ of the data. Your domain will remain under your ownership, and we suggest you manage it using your own account with a reputable domain company such as 123Reg. Our promise to you We will monitor your site and will be alerted automatically should an issue occur, however, if you find an issue, you will be able to report it via your support desk which will be provided when you sign up to the service. We will endeavour to fix all issues within 8 hours, although we can make no guarantee on fix time due to the complex nature of websites. However, most fixes are within 30 minutes. Our liability Nothing in these Terms limit or exclude our liability for:
  • death or personal injury caused by our negligence;
  • fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
  • any other area where it would be unlawful or invalid to seek to exclude liability.
Subject to the above clause, we will under no circumstances whatever be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, arising under or in connection with the Contract for:
  • any loss of profits, sales, business, or revenue;
  • loss or corruption of data, information or software;
  • loss of business opportunity;
  • loss of anticipated savings;
  • loss of goodwill; or
  • any indirect or consequential loss.
Subject to the above clause, our total liability to you in respect of all other losses arising under or in connection with the Contract, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall in no circumstances exceed the price of the Services. Except as expressly stated in these Terms, we do not give any representation, warranties or undertakings in relation to the Services. Any representation, condition or warranty which might be implied or incorporated into these Terms by statute, common law or otherwise is excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law. In particular, we will not be responsible for ensuring that the Services are suitable for your purposes.
